WORLD WOODS GOLF CLUB - ROLLING OAKSBROOKSVILLE, FL Although built right next door, the land occupied by Rolling Oaks provides a stark contrast to that at Pine Barrens. Here you'll find huge oak trees draped with Spanish moss within a landscape reminiscent of Augusta National (including Azaleas!). The course features beautiful rolling fairways and well-defined bunkers with bright white sand. Fazio's mindset must have been completely different when designing both courses, but the end results are nothing less than spectacular. Particularly enjoyable are the great par-three holes at Rolling Oaks. |

03/10/2008 - Played 36 (Pine Barrens first, then Rolling Oaks). The greens on Rolling Oaks were about half the speed of Pine Barrens and led to some need to adjust which was frustrating. Nice track with not as many hazards/water as Pine Barren. They put a huge bunker in front of just about every darn green which didn't really fit my game well, but I would definitely play this course again. Posted by Brian (Park Hills, KY)

02/25/2008 - Only played it once on this trip, since Pine Barrens is our preferred course, and they were able to accommodate us. The greens were fuzzy and a little inconsistent, but the course is user friendly and quite beautiful. Posted by Mickey (Westport, CT)
02/07/2008 - Truly, my favorite course, thus far, in the Tampa area. Rolling Oaks is a fun course as you could play and not lose your ball...although, it's not impossible! Great 8th hole!! Would definitely play again if in the vicinity! Posted by Craig (Plano, TX)
01/28/2008 - I'd play it because I'd want to come back and play the other course, but I found the course pretty mundane, and definitely not like Pine Barrens. 10/23/2007 - Wow! Played Pine Barrens in the morning and rolling Oaks in the PM. Totally different and that's what made Rolling Oaks so appealing. Some of the shots around the moss-covered oaks are more reminiscent of Harbor Town without the ocean. Wonderful contrast. Tough to find such a pairing. Best golf value I've had. 06/06/2007 - Pace of play was bad toward the end of nine but the starter offered to switch our group to the front nine of pine barron to speed things up and that really helped us finish before the rains. Posted by Mark (Tampa, FL)
